A New Day

After the solemness of yesterday it felt good to get back to ordinary tasks.

Have you noticed that most magazines are now $9.95?  The jump was gradual but it happened.  It's almost an investment instead of a treat. It's crazy.  I guess we just have to get more creative if we're magazine addicts.

Hope all is well with you and that your week's starting off on a good note.         Diane

I have had to rethink a lot of things about buying. For example, I'm not really going to buy those shoes I posted pictures of... teehee.

Hello Diane,
I love those roses! Magazines are so expensive aren't they? I sometimes feel that I'm the 'poor relation' as all my slightly better off friends pass on their old magazines to me- just as people handed on clothes in the past! I'm very grateful though, it's such a treat! Jane x

A couple of summers ago, I realized magazine prices had gone up in the States. Of course, we pay so much over here anyways that it didn't make much of a difference to me. Where Women Create is definitely worth that much. Pages are nice and thick and chock full of inspiration. Hope your day is great. Tammy

P.S. Of course, we don't get any great magazines here, and I am paying $10 for a Family Circle magazine -- so not worth it. :/

$9.95? How about $14.95? When did that become acceptable? And yet . . . I still buy them. It is my ONE major weakness. Well, that and animals, wine, dog walks etc. xobean :)
