These dried roses from Valentine's Day, a week before actually, are still so beautiful I'm enjoying them still. I took the advice of June and just poured the water off when they started to go. I like the way they dried.

Isn't it nice that June told us it's okay to save our roses like this. Thanks June. These are a beautiful color, Diane. You must have been a very special valentine for someone.
BTW..I am really looking forward to getting the pitcher and little bird plate. They take me back my whole life and remind me of my Greatgrandmother's house. I was just awestruck with them and so afraid they might have been gone. I will blog about them later on and post pictures too. Thanks ...hugs, Rosalie
Roses are beautiful,even when dried.
I wish I'd saved mine - you've created an elegant still life.
I love roses ---any way I can get them... They are beautiful--both fresh and dry...

They look fantastic, I was amazed at how beautiful roses could dry if you followed this technique!!

I have every flower that Dennis has bought me over our 11 years...... I tie them together and hang them upside down to dry and then spray them with polyurethane and put them in a vase or basket..... Yours are beautiful!
Yes...they are so beautiful!
