Winter is getting long and snow still is piled everywhere and thawing very, very slowly. So I turn inside the house to find some pretty things to photograph. Some of my perfume bottles..............
........and remember this one? How many of these did we buy for our mothers at the dime store when we were little? I found this for a dime at the thrift store. It really isn't expensive French perfume but it's very nostalgic. Diane

HI Diane, I remember those old perfume bottles... They do give some sparkle to a dull day, don't they?????
Hugs,

Those old bottles made a dressing table look so elegant. My mum was always gracious about the dime store perfume and would wear it around the house, or let us have it in our bath, with some dish soap bubbles.
We felt so special!
Those bottles are so pretty and the French one love the bottle shape and blue cap....I have to go catch up with you and all that I missed!!! Missed ya
I remember those bottles well Diane, and miss the dime stores where they were found. Ahh for the good old days. Beautiful pictures! You're home is so cozy.
Iloved those tiny bottles of perfume we used to get. My grandmother always saved them for me. Beautiful pictures Diane.
And speaking of beautiful...your roses dried so perfectly! We do live in the perfect climate for drying flowers and drying our skin.LOL!
sending hugs
Hey Diane, I have some Blue Waltz. My sister found some for me just a year or so ago. I hadn't seen it for fifty years. We would go downtown to the Kress store and get some for 5-10 cents. It was so wonderful. I sure feel like I have everything in common with you. Loved your post...I also collect perfume bottles.
