On June 4 I posted a video of the wild turkey babies and their mother. You could hardly see them - they just looked like little puffballs bobbing along in the grass. Today I was delighted to see them again - this time much bigger but still sticking very close to mom and mom was ever vigilant and protective. What a joy!
Diane this is such a beautiful shot of your family of turkeys. Do you know that I have never seen a wild turkey?! So this is such a treat. Oh my gosh...we have so many bikers going through out teeny town on their way to Sturgis every year. I live right on US Highway 93 and the rumble you can hear a mile away (more like five miles away) Our C-store has been full of bikers for days and days and yes, I didn't see any suspenders in the whole bunch.hehe hugs

No wild turkeys anywhere near here, so I've never seen one. Those babies are getting to look quite adolescent!

Wow who's the Mom they all look like teenagers...I hope they are not eating her out of house and home too!
