Update on Catherine

We had a little Christmas celebration with Catherine and
her husband on Sunday and it was so nice to see them and share
some time together.  She's heading towards the 1/2 way mark of the
radiation treatments and I'm so proud of her, she's working as much as she
can every day and dealing with it as something that needs to be
done and over with.  But I also know that this is one of the
roughest things she's ever been through and it's very hard on her.
I'm thankful that the cancer is no
worse than it is but somehow cancer is cancer in my heart and mind.
I'm proud of my son-in-law, too, for helping her
every step of the way.
Thanks for letting me talk about this, as a mother it's so hard to see your little girl
(and you still are little to me, Cathy), go through anything like this.

Well, thank you for letting me talk about this thing and being good friends.

Blessings, Diane

God Bless your precious Cathy... I know it's hard ---but she's a strong woman (like her Mama). I will keep her in my prayers... She's such a beautiful woman ---again, just like her Mama.
Hugs,
Betsy

I'm so happy to see that lovely photo and to hear that you've had a bit of a celebration. Of course you're proud and of course you're worried - it's a mum's job!! (that's what I tell my two) and it doesn't stop just because our kids are adults. You go right ahead - brag, tell stories, give us updates - we get it!

My prayers are with you all dear friend. Yes, cancer is cancer to me too. I know what you mean about it being hard on us seeing our children have these kinds of challenges Diane. It is hard to have to watch it all transpire before us.
sending hugs tonight...

Cancer is not easy to deal with, but God can and does give the strength we need for each moment. I rejoice with you that Catherine is doing as well as she is.I continue to pray for her and for you as the Mom. Sometimes it is even harder to be the one who is watching from the sidelines. Hugs to you dear friend.

Diane, please let Cathy know that she is a very brave woman. You are right, cancer is cancer no matter what.It makes us stop and re think our lives and as you know with myself I will not let it get in the way of trying to live a normal life.
Cathy...remember: Live one day at a time and every day to the fullest.
Hugs to all of you. xxx

Dear Diane and Catherine, I think you are both being so brave. It must be so frightening and hard to keep posative and just getting through each day must take all your courage. I believe you will come through this and be stronger and more sure of all your love for each other (and all your friends and family) Jane x

I'm glad she's through the half way mark Diane, you have every reason to be proud of her attitude. My prayers are with both her and you. I know the word cancer is scary, I remember so well. Thank God she is doing well. Blessings to all of you Diane.
