Wild Turkey Babies

On June 4 I posted a video of the wild turkey babies and their mother. You could hardly see them - they just looked like little puffballs bobbing along in the grass.  Today I was delighted to see them again - this time much bigger but still sticking very close to mom and mom was ever vigilant and protective.  What a joy!

Diane this is such a beautiful shot of your family of turkeys. Do you know that I have never seen a wild turkey?! So this is such a treat.
Oh my gosh...we have so many bikers going through out teeny town on their way to Sturgis every year. I live right on US Highway 93 and the rumble you can hear a mile away (more like five miles away) Our C-store has been full of bikers for days and days and yes, I didn't see any suspenders in the whole bunch.hehe

No wild turkeys anywhere near here, so I've never seen one. Those babies are getting to look quite adolescent!

I have seen wild turkeys here only a few times. It's so wonderful that you have been able to watch this little family grow, Diane!
