A trip to see Mother at the care center today and I always have to capture some pictures of some of my favorite places in the town where we grew up.
This impressive home stands on Main Street. Needless to say, it's one of a kind. It was always a mysterious place to me and very intriguing - I'd love to go inside. It was built by Count Frederick Thorne-Rider and I can't tell you too much more about it, I believe it was given to the Catholic Church. I don't know if they still own it or it's a private home. In my heart I hope it's a private home and some very sweet and maybe slightly eccentric live there. Look at that front door, isn't it beautiful? Diane
