Pussy Willows.  That's when I know that spring is on it's way.  They're one  of the first things to poke their noses out in the springtime.  And even they are late this year!                         Diane

The catkins of the pussy willow bush are covered with pollen and fluff now. In the sunlight, in the evening they look like little bright pennies or sparkling Christmas lights. Diane

Signs of Spring

It IS coming. Sometimes you can feel it in the air. Or see it in the light. Today I discovered my pussy willows beginning to open.

Spring is coming, coming.
