I've again been made painfully aware of the unknown impact we make in other people's lives.

A lady who was the County Clerk and also worked at the courthouse for many years previously took her own life yesterday. She was 60 years old and I'm sure she worked in that office for at least 25 years. She had been accused of wrongdoing. It's hard for me to believe that she would have done anything wrong when she's worked at the courthouse for so long and has a sterling reputation.

People walk this earth carrying heavy burdens and thinking they're alone in their battle, no one cares, they don't mean much to others. They end up taking their own life. Then the outpouring of support from the community. If only they knew how much they meant to people, if only they knew what people really thought about them. Maybe they would have been able to reach out for some kind of help.

It reminds me to always give my best to everyone I come in contact with. You never know what people are going through.
