On Thanksgiving

I always hate to ask Leonard to take my picture.  For some reason it just seems vain or silly.  But I did on Thanksgiving because he took me out to a lovely buffet meal and I got dressed up out of my jeans and t shirt uniform
.  Hi  from me.                 Diane

STOP....and look at the beauty

I found myself coming home through town a couple nights ago just as the sun was going down.  The sun was so bright that tears came to my eyes.  As I sat at the stop light this is what I saw.

Welcome June

What is one to say about June, the time of perfect young summer, the fulfillment of the promise of the earlier months, and with as yet no sign to remind one that its fresh young beauty will ever fade. Gertrude Jekyll Diane

Ed's Morning Glories

These are one of our neighbor's morning glories. Ed has such beautiful flowers and I like to wander over there from time to time to see what's coming up. He's fun to talk to about flowers, he knows a lot about them even though he might not know all the names, he knows what's pretty and when to dig them up, split them, or whatever they need. In the spring we see him walking around with his eyes to the ground, cigarette or coffee in hand. Leonard says he's making his flowers grow. Diane
