2018.............

A new year, new joys and hopefully no sorrows for any of us.

I can truly say that I've never really been lonely. From the time I was born there was a pet in my life - always.  Losing Rascal was crushing.  The loneliness and sadness were almost overwhelming.  After 2 1/2 months of this I went searching for another little dog to love.  Puck had been in the shelter since the 1st of October, patiently waiting for someone to love him.  I visited him twice but said to myself "he's too big".  As I combed through the available dogs he just kept showing up.

On the 14th of December I called the shelter and said I want to give Puck a forever home for Christmas.

Now neither of us is lonely.  He's an Australian Shepherd - 63 lbs.  He's a very kind and peaceful dog who is just glad to be here, have his own yard, and have someone to love him.

There's always been pets in my life, too. I can't imagine being without one though there's been years when I was because of life circumstances. I am so very happy that you adopted Puck. His breed truly is so lovely and loyal. I can't imagine why anyone would give up him or put him out. But I'm so happy you two found each other. Happy New Year!
