Tree up - check.............village out - check...........

We put up our Christmas tree today.  Leonard brings the tree up from the basement, puts the tree together and the angel on top and he's done.  It takes me longer to put the ornaments on.  Most of the ornaments are sentimental and special and require thought and dreaming.

The little church and cottage are in the dining room. The trees are some old ones that I sprayed antique white.  It looks like there are some people at home and the lights are on in the church, too.

Leonard made his "World Famous Fudge".  He gets pretty serious when he's making this and easily upset.  So I stay out of the kitchen unless I'm needed.  It's something the girls look for in their packages every year.

Alpha Stamp's The Twelve Days of Christmas is on the 2nd day and I couldn't resist playing along with Two Turtle Doves today.  (I know this wasn't on my check list but...........)

I totally understand the dreaming a thinking when decorating, love the ornaments. When the Dutchman is making his dutch cookies, I stay out of the way too.....lol.
I do love the little houses, they are so pretty, and the turtle doves are gorgeous!!

I like your new header. I used to make fudge every year, too, but haven't done so in a couple of years. Your little Christmas village is lovely. Best wishes, Tammy
