The backyard gardens are alive with flying creatures - butterflies, bees, bumblebees, moths, and of course the wasps. They are everywhere. I leave them alone and they don't bother me - as long as I watch where I put my hands. The other day I was watering with the hose and a wasp landed on my arm, walked down my finger, walked onto the hose and flew off - whew! Don't tell my husband but I love the business of the yard, even if many of the occupants can hurt. Diane

I've been bitten by wasps and the pain was terrible! I'm glad it decided to leave you alone Diane! Love the close up you were able to get. Awesome!!
Love your attitude! I used to be so frightened of bees and such until my daughter taught me that they are just working and will not bother me if I just stay out of their way. And she was right! I give them water and flowers and tell them to tell all their buddies to just leave the lady in the plaid alone. And they do! LOL Kit
Good choice to leave them alone, although I have a hard time not swatting them away.Lots of wasps here too,but before we know it they too will be gone for another season.
Hello Diane- I don't like wasps but love bees, especially bumblebees and will even stroke them if they are on me and in a calm, contented mood! Jane xx
Great photo mom! Love you, Bean
My, that is a bunch of busy wasps. I've only been bitten once by a bee when I was about 6 years old. Zack got stung by a wasp when we were in the States a couple of years ago and boy did it hurt. Be careful out there. Tammy
