Almost overnight the creek is practically frozen all the way across. It was just a couple weeks ago that it was entertaining ducks in leisurely laziness and fall colors. Then Boom! We're all trying to adjust to the sudden change of temperature.................

From fall to winter over night, really. I'm not looking forward to the ponds freezing - perhaps this year they won't.

Hello Diane~I'm b-a-c-k to makin' my visits (finally)! I just wanted to take a minute at this season of renewed hope and gratitude to personally thank you for your visits and kind words, especially with the loss of my kitty Angel. I wish I could convey to you how much you helped me at such a fragile time.

I hope we start warming up or we are off to a very windy cold winter we had 10below last night....and our storm last Wed they clocked the winds in the inlet at 125mph. we are suppose to have another wind storm next week!

These are awesome, wonderful pictures. They take my breath away. But brrrrrrr....you must be freezing at least half the time, but I hope not.
