This is what I saw when I opened the front curtains this morning. It's our across the street neighbors and their tree was glowing in the autumn light.
Nothing prepares you for the words you
don't want to hear. Never was there anywhere that taught me what to
say to my precious daughter Catherine when she tells me the
diagnosis is positive for breast cancer.
Don't cry. But I cry anyway.
Be strong. But I'm not even though I try - she's the strong
one
"I'm doing fine Mom."
I hate to think of the things she has to go through, I wish I could
do it for her.
I want to rush to her and hug her but I know
she has enough to deal with besides my soppiness.
I know with your prayers and ours that the
Lord will hold her in His hand.
Blessings, Diane

Dearest Diane, I am soppy now too as yours was the last blog I read last nite and the first one this morning. I forgot to turn off my computer last nite so you were still here now -- I am so sorry to hear about Catherine. It sounds like she is certainly going into this with a positive outlook so that's what you must provide her -- positivity that all will be well. I will keep you all in thoughts and prayers for God's blessings and healing, Tammy
Please let us know how things are going. You are in my prayers for sure. The early morning picture is so nice...perhaps God was there to help you through the day. I have full faith that He will be.
Diane, I'm so sorry to read about your daughter's diagnosis. I will pray for Catherine - I know about the power of prayer.
OMG! I feel for you and your daughter. As a Mother, nothing hurts me as much as when my children are sick. Prayers for you and she just went up. Sending big hugs too! Kit
Oh, Diane, I am sorry. I do know what you are feeling...our mothering heart so wants to protect and make it all better. I will pray...keep us updated so we can continue to pray. I do so like your *gratitude* posts...the book is amazing (but really it is god that is amazing), isn't it?! Thank you for the email...sorry I didn't get back to you...I have been overwhelmed with my to-do list, lately!
blessings,
Rene
