The birds would have needed ice skates this morning. After I took this picture to share with you I started to break the film of ice for the birds - film? The ice was almost 1/2 inch deep!
You all know I love these wild turkeys around here. They're smart, too.
I've noticed several times that they wait until the coast is clear and then they head home - over the bridge. Diane
Whoa, it really is cooling down, isn't it? I know it can be so much cooler where you are, just a ways north of me, but it's even cooler in the next town up. You know where Ogden is, don't you? I love your turkeys. They're like part of your family. And going over the bridge they look like they've been visiting all day and now it's time to go home. They've gotten bigger from last year, haven't they? They are so Cute!!!!
