My list is 3 feet long, I exaggerate but it seems
that long. I know I'm not the only one, I imagine that
every living woman on this planet feels the
same way.
All of a sudden I feel like my body doesn't move
as fast, or as seamlessly as I'd like, in order
to do the things I want to do. I feel like
I'm moving in slow motion.
My wanting to do art is overshadowed by projects, errands,
dusting and cleaning to be done, and the other
things that have to be done.
I always get a kick in the pants and joy from this
excerpt from
The Summer Day by Mary Oliver
..................tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?
And what about you? Diane

Hello! I plan to just live my life loving this wonderful Earth every single day. And feel blessed that every day that I wake up, that I am the luckiest girl in the world! Kit
Live life to its fullest for every moment I have left on this earth... AND--that doesn't include keeping the house spotless or the kitchen floor mopped and waxed much.... ha ha (Priorities you know!!!!)
Hugs,
Betsy
I figure that dust can wait,it will be there in winter too and the flowers won't be.I want to enjoy each day God is giving me.
My plan is to live everyday to the fullest as long as I am able to do so. I also feel blessed everyday that I am still here to enjoy all the beautiful things especially nature.
Live, Laugh and Love is my motto.
Jill.
Diane, I am trying very hard to live more in the present - to BE present - but it is hard. The call of work is insidious and then there is always a list of things to be done in the house. I got a wake up call this year, but the list doesn't go away.
We all have to deal with these choices each and every day. A friend gave me a plaque that reads ... A clean house is the sign of a wasted life. Now I don't worry about it so much anymore. :) Have a good one! Tammy
That's exactly how I feel. Little emergencies just keep popping up everyday. And I feel less and less able to handle them. But with friends like you, that helps a lot. I'll keep trying and I'll remember there are good things popping up as well. Thanks for the bit of sunshine. Have a really nice week.

Oh, I love this quote as well, Diane!
When I sit in a chair outdoors and watch the clouds and butterflies float by, I realize I'm truly living my dream - I just can't do that all the time. Today I must dust, and tomorrow there are errands...
Take care of you, make time for what you love, and the have tos can be taken care of in little snippets of time around what matters most.
Hugs,
Zuzu
You're preaching to the choir.
I keep thinking that I don't want to waste one minute of my life. But, sometimes you need to run errands, dust and clean. I guess I need to just BE!
Love you, Bean
