And here it is after I got it finished today. I still want to put something different in that little spot above the knives and he doesn't know it yet but I want to change the light fixture to a pewter colored one or all white. I like the openness - it's kind of nice to put things away or get them out without stopping to open the doors.
Here's a close-up. Some of the beautiful handmade pottery from Amanda that I get to use for everyday.
I hurt everywhere but I love the end result. Diane

I really like it, Diane! You did a great job and you should be proud of yourself!
Boy, when you decide to do something...you get it done! I really like it!!
That is very attractive. My problem would be that this way I would have to keep it all neat and tidy.I'm sure you won't have that problem.
Bless your heart. Hope you sleep well tonight.. You have worked hard, my dear...
LOVE it... You did GREAT.
Hugs,
Betsy
It looks fresh and very nice, Diane. I love all the colors of your dishes. I meant to type back and rave on about that beautiful flowered wall paper...it was so pretty. Can't believe you've got it all done so quickly. It looks good...you must just love it. It's so pretty
Bravo Diane! It looks great. You sure finished that job up quickly. I started painting a bookshelf in the kids room the other day but ran out of paint so it is half finished. I guess I better out and get some more paint so I can complete the job.
I do like the look of open shelving! And it does force you to be neat which is a good thing. The insides of my cupboards are such a mess!
Have a great weekend. Tammy
A great idea! Hopefully we will be moving into our place soon and I may do this instead of painting cabinet doors!

So bright and cheery - now just sit back and enjoy it!!!
:)
Happy weekend, Diane!

That certainly turned out beautiful. The colors and lack of clutter are admirable. I wouldn't want anyone to see what's in MY cupboard. (I don't even want to see it) Love, Patsy
I love it! It looks clean and beautiful! I just might do something like that in my own kitchen . . . you've inspired me! Love you, Bean
Wow, you have been a busy gal! I love the look of the open cupboard......look at the beautiful pottery.
Diane, I really enjoyed the post about your Grandfather...especially the bees, sigh, I miss those days......it's even hard to explain to my grandchildren, they don't understand a world without computers and cell phones and that stuff. Wonder what they'd do if I said here's a blanket and some clothespins....go play in the yard!
Hugs,
Mags
