Welcome Blossoms

Beneath these fruit-tree boughs that shed
Their snow-white blossoms on my head,
With brightest sunshine round me spread
Of Spring's unclouded weather.

In this sequestered nook how sweet
To sit upon my orchard seat,
And flowers and birds once more to greet,
My last year's friends together.

- William Wordsworth, from "The Green Linnett"

Beautiful, Diane.... Isn't Spring just wonderful?????

Hope your rains and flooding have let-up now. We had some heavy storms today --but luckily, no damage.
Hugs,
Betsy

This is nice. My weather is probably a lot like yours, still cool and I really like that. The trees are blossomed and the flowers are pretty.

I love this poem Diane, we just had a bad thunderstorm, but other than that it was a perfect spring day.

Beautiful! I can only imagine how wonderful it smells!

Thank you for suggesting the Cornell Ornithology Lab - I've added it to my bookmarks. There are many calls/songs that I hear, but do not know who is singing those beautiful notes! :)

Wishing you a lovely one, Diane!
