It has rained all day and most of yesterday. This is always the time of high water because the mountain snows are melting, rain speeds the process, so does warm days. There are flood warnings for low lying areas (us). However our block is a little higher and my old time neighbor told me once that they had never had water in their basement in 50 years. Still.......it's the time of the year to keep a wary eye on the creek which isn't a block away from our house. And it just keeps on raining. Diane

Diane,I do hope that you will not have water problems. You don't need that kind of stress.I love the Bleeding Hearts.
The snow pack in the mountains is always such a worry at this time of year. I know that it makes the Fraser Valley very vulnerable. Keep watching that creek!
OH My Goodness.... I pray that you all don't get flooded. You may never have been flooded before --but this is a strange year all over the country...
Please stay safe--and I will pray for you NOT to get flooded.
Hugs,
Betsy
This has been something hasn't it Diane? I see a lot of depression setting in with family and friends, as the rainy days never seem to quit except for a few hours here and there. I hope you don't have flooding, and that the rains across our country take a break soon!
Beautiful picture of the bleeding heart. Put your highwater pants on and prepare-ya never know.
Love, Patsy
