My Reason For St. Patrick's Day

Me, Grandpa, my sister Jennie
Grandpa.  He was Walter Charles Sullivan and his great, great, great grandfather, Ebenezer Sullivan, was born in Limerick, Ireland in 1750.  To me St. Patrick;s Day is this man, our dear grandpa, who was so proud to wear a little green ribbon on his wool shirt and leave the radio on longer than usual so we could hear the Irish music.  My Wild Irish Rose, I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen, The Irish Washerwoman, a wonderful day to be Irish.

Oh how special, Diane. It's no wonder that St. Patrick's Day is so important to you. I have some Irish relatives also--but don't remember celebrating St. Patrick's Day much through the years...

Hope you had a wonderful day and proudly wore your green today.
Hugs,
Betsy
