Happy Birthday to My Friend

This is our dear friend and neighbor, Bill.  Today as I walked Rascal I saw him in his driveway and yelled hi to him.  "Come over here", he said.  I walked on over and he said "I'd like to give you a hug, it's my 90th birthday today!."  Bill may be 90 but he loves his God and church, he loves to design things for his home and he appreciates beautiful things.  If you remember, he's the one who told me once to wait a minute, he had a magazine he knew I'd like.  With much fanfare he presented it to me. - Cloth Paper Scissors - Yes!  I do love it but where did you get it?  He just beamed and didn't tell me much.  We've spent some happy times just sitting on a couple of his sawhorses talking.  I just love Bill and I wish him 90 more years!       Diane

It's good to have sweet neighbors. We've got a couple also, but it's not the way I remember neighbors as a kid.
Thanks for coming and leaving a comment. I don't know why my blog doesn't show up right...you're not the only one. I don't know if it's something I've done wrong or what. I think the only visits I get are from comments I leave. Oh well, I don't know how to get help from Blogger. Thanks for the kind words and for making the extra effort!

Hi Diane, I just love your blog header. So pretty and inviting!
And that Bill, he is a cutie! Happiest of birthdays to him. How wonderful that he gave you a Cloth Paper Scissors magazine.

The days just seem to be getting away from me. I come home from work and all I seem to do is pick up, wash dishes and clothes.

Love those morning glories in your previous post. Someone blogged about them today and said they can be quite invasive. I wouldn't mind having some here. I need something that is hearty and will take over. I always thought morning glories were fragile.

Looking forward to seeing your painted house and redoings. Hope you are having a great day! :) Tammy
