Pussy Willow wakened from her winter nap,For the frolic spring breeze on her door did tap.
Mistress Pussy Willow opened wide the door;
Never had the sunshine seemed so bright before.
Happy little children cried with laugh and shout,
Spring is coming, coming, Pussy Willow's out."

Pussy willows take me back to my childhood - they mean spring even more than daffodils or other spring blossoms.
What a pretty poem.
I'm glad that something in my post 'spoke' to you. Isn't that sometimes the way it is with blogs? Whatever you're facing - and I know that life can throw some pretty daunting challenges - you will make it through.
What a beautiful sight, I love pussy willows!!!!

I think I just answered this blog---or one very similar..... Was I dreaming?????
Anyhow, the Pussy Willows are so pretty--and when the "kittens" are fat and fuzzy--that means spring is coming...
Hugs,
Betsy
I love pussy willows, and always looked forward to their arrival when I was young. I'd pick the branches, and put them in a vase. I'll have to see if the bush here survived, last year it was looking pretty sad! Hope you had a wonderful Easter Diane!
Makes it even more special that you grew it! :c)
I would love to have one of those... I wonder if they grow in Oklahoma?
Hope you had a wonderful Easter...... and have a wonderful week.........
