Leonard and I never knew each other as youth. We both had different lives, different loves. I love to imagine that we had fallen in love with each other when we were teenagers. I keep this little double frame with each of us at that point in our lives.
But then that takes me back to the above quote and remind myself that every moment in time is valuable and even the years we didn't know each other were golden much of the time. Diane
(I have to tell you the first two pictures aren't nicely arranged - I had everything piled on my dresser to get some cleaning done and I just liked the colors. I can arrange things a little better)

I love that photo of you as a teen Diane... so pretty!
Oh how often we all forget to cherish the moments.Too often we talk of the 'good old days',when really every day is one of those 'good old days'

Yes Diane, Every moment is GOLDEN... AND we all need to take advantage of all of these moments in our lives... I had a rough time during some of my adult-hood---but have made up for it now... Thanks be to God.
Hugs,
Betsy
No no!!! It's perfect just the way it is. And yes the colors are glorious Diane. I love the pictures and I think that you two would have fallen madly for each other in your youth. Just meant to be together!
I hate it when I fall so far behind in blogging, cause I miss so many wonderful posts. Like yours...I loved the photos of your sweet pets lounging on the newly washed 'beds'lol
hugs
Loved this post with your pics and story. The white candle holders are so shabby chic! The bee pitcher is cute. Love your things!
