For Me?

Have you ever wondered why animals love anything new or newly laundered? I washed down the patio this morning and threw this rug down between the doorways to catch some of the dirt. I don't think it even hit the floor before Rascal perched his little self on it. He thought it was just right!

Over the years I've noticed this with my pets. This is Maxie, I had her for 22 years. If she saw me take a load of clothes out of the dryer she'd follow behind me through the house hoping she could snuggle down.
I guess they're just like us. We like new things or new to us and we also like clean things.

If I set a laundry basket down for a second, either of my cats think I just made them a really nice bed! Your pics are adorable Diane!

Wow! I can't believe you had Maxie for 22 years. That's a very long life for a feline. Jingles loves to curl up on piles of anything -- freshly laundered clothes, pillows, blankets -- anything that to her says cozy and comfy! HA! HAve a great day. :) Tammy

Hello Diane from Wyoming! I'm sooo blessed by your visit to me today. I hope you will come back again and again...you are always welcomed here.

Isn't Junie a sweetheart? I just love her and her BIG heart!

You have a beautiful blog my friend. You truly do! I'm going to take some time to go through your posts and I promise I will be back again soon. I'm working on relaunching my website so I've been quite taxed of late. :(

I've never been to Wyoming but my Nebraska born hubby has been there many times. He's told me more than once that there is no lovier place on this earth than the land you call home.

Blessings to you and your art...

Rosie snuggles into anything newly laundered - and if it's right out of the dryer, even better! I've always thought that it's because she's a girlie pooch since our male dogs never did this.
