The next time I get to Billings to the bookstore I want to have a book list and hopefully, an hour. I'm trying to accumulate the names of some books. To give you an idea what my interests are, right now I'm reading The Shack, just finished Home to Holly Springs, recently read The Thirteenth Tale, reread The Shell Seekers and have read everything by Agatha Christie with Miss Marple in it. I do tend to skip all over the place I guess but maybe that gives you an idea. Please let me know if there's one you would recommend, I'd be very grateful. Diane

Hi Mom!
Try Elizabeth George. She's American, but she writes about England/murder mysteries. She's pretty good! Start with her first one . . . A Great Deliverance. You probably should read them in order - so you can follow the characters (they're the same ones). I think you'll like them! - Love You, Bean
Diane, I'd HIGHLY recommend the three book series by Deanna Raybourn, Silent in the Grave, Silent in the Sanctuary, and Silent on the Moor (in that order). You'd love them!
Have you ever read any of Frank Peretti books? They are christian fiction and I read them over and over. They are the kind of books that you cannot put down once you start...... just a thought......
Oh Diane try the series Tales From Grace Chapel Inn by Judy Baer. Such excellent books, with warm homey stories complete with recipes that are down home. Great series!
I highly recommend anything by Adriana Trigiani. She's from my hometown in Virgina. One of her books is about our hometown, Big Stone Gap. There are two others in that series: Big Cherry Holler and Home to Big Stone Gap. All are entertaining...
Looks like you are getting some great suggestions.
Hugs,
Betsy
