The End of Summer

With three snowstorms in one week and temperatures hanging around 20 degrees I suppose we can assume that this is the end of summer - and fall. The leaves have been frozen in their tracks not even having a chance to change color. I wouldn't be surprised it did turn warm later after this arctic cold front and we'll still have a chance to turn our faces towards the warm sunshine. But you never know.

That just amazes me, Diane. Is this a 'normal' October for you??? I don't know much about weather in other parts of the country--but this much snow so early seems amazing to me. You know how much I love snow---but I don't really want it 'til Christmas. ha

Beautiful picture. Poor little flower.
Hugs,
Betsy

I hope it doesn't stay to long Diane. It is still a bit to early for all that snow.
Have a great Sunday:)

Wow. We had our first slight air frost last week, but it was gone by 7.30 am. Friends in Scotland have had snow, but it's still autumn in the south east of England, and pretty mild.
