Cindy at MyRomanticHome is asking us to post our favorite thing in our home and participate in the fun. Hmmmmmmmm? Since you can't list a person and my dog is a person, I guess that leaves that out. My next favorite thing is this wonderful lamp. 
Of course she has a story. We were driving down a busy street here and went past a garage sale. If you can imagine THAT! (Explanation-My husband was driving.) "Stop, Stop", I yelled."There's a lamp there that I want. (Eagle eye, that's what it is.) He came to a stop thinking he had ran over a child or somebody had a heart attack. I jumped out of the car and dashed over to the table and there she stood in all her glory, still available. I scored her for $5.00 and we went on our way. She didn't have a shade but I thought that would be easy.(Never easy!) So she just stood around with her hand raised defiantly in the air for a long time until I finally found this shade which fit, added ball fringe and stars and she has had a place of honor in our home ever since. I can spot a lamp I love a mile away too! Which is why I have more lamps than I have tables to put them on! That's a great find for $5.00!
