A Rebellious Garden

Thank you Pretty in Pink for allowing everyone to visit my garden.
Later I will post mine but the is Kevin's garden.

Kevin's a friend of mine. He lived on a busy street where he and a friend were lovingly restoring a beautiful old Victorian. His passion was his garden. Early in the spring where we all sat huddling by the fire he was in his yard-mulching, tripping, planning and just enjoying being there. By summer we were all inspired by his beautiful garden. Hummingbirds flitted here and there. Weddings were held there, artists painted it - we were all welcome. Then the unspeakable happened. In the middle of December a fire burned the house to ashes. Firemen trampled the yard, debris was tossed on top of the flowers and bushes and plants. Kevin's heart was broken. He moved to another house where he lives part of the year. That's the sad part.
The good part is that the garden still flourishes with a vengeance. It is overgrown with weeds but the garden is still so beautiful. It grows as if it were saying, "we grow and we will live because we were once loved SO much!!!"

The good news is that Kevin's new garden is growing and flourishing and he can occasionally be seen in it plotting the next new growth.
God bless you. Diane

How sad that this had to happen but then it seems things happen for a reason and when this happens everything and everyone seem to flourish even more. The garden is beautiful. We may be sad for awhile at what happens in life but somewhere there is always a rainbow at the end.
