..........or am I just coming in late here. At our local Safeway store I purchased 4 lbs of strawberries for $5.00. Some of these are as big as lemons! I cut up enough for strawberry shortcake for the two of us and used 5 strawberries. Five! I cleaned and cut up the rest and froze them for later this summer. It always makes me feel so good to really get a bargain!
