Yesterday, getting ready for company, I went out to my little cottage to do some vacuuming and straightening. When I stepped in there the floor felt funny. I pulled back the linoleum to find the floor wet underneath. With my husbands help we got the linoleum and rug up and the began taking the furniture out. That's when I poked a hole in the floor with a chair.

The long winter and too much snow had taken it's toll on the floor. I cried the rest of the day. This morning we were able to come up with some kind of plan to fix it and store the furniture but my heart still hurts. Diane |

Oh Mom! I am so sorry! I thought your floor out there was brick for some reason? I'm sure it will be better than before when you get it done. BTW . . . I love your snowy scene. How did you do that? xo bean
Hope you can restore things to a better state then they were.
I'm so very sorry to hear about your cottage, however, I'm sure Leonard will fix it up-probably better than before. I, too love the snow scene-you did well. Love, Patsy
Oh no!!! That's truly distressing! I probably would have cried too. Although I probably would have sat down out there and cried. And then fallen through making yet another hole. Romeo sends you purrs. I send you hugs.

I'm so sorry Diane. I know this is your sanctuary and that you love it out there. I hope you can restore the floor and save the building. I'm sure as hard as you two work, it will be ship-shape in no time.
sending hugs...
Sorry to hear the the flood is damaged. But I'm sure you will get it fixed up and it will be better than ever. Take care, Tammy
