The new year begins, not
completely unmarked but bringing with us the bumps and bruises of life previously - like this expanse of snow. But also like this windblown snow, trackless and waiting for new footsteps and trails to be made. I'm armed with some new ideas, new hopes and dreams and new thinking. Blessings, Diane

This is a lovely picture to depict the new year. I hope that 2014 will bring you many blessings.
What a beautiful thought, Diane. When viewed from afar, the snow appears pristine, unblemished, but up close we can see the scars from the ice and the wind.
Happy New Year to you and yours!
Lovely reflective thoughts with the twinkling of hope. Can't wait to hear about the new directions you will strive for. BTW I am enjoying a wonderful pink bar of the most luxuriant and cream soap I have ever had. Merci
Good luck dear friend in the footsteps you take upon the new year. I loved this post Diane. You always write so beautifully. and thank you for your sweet comment you left for me. You always make me smile when you write.

That's why I love new snow. Untouched and ready for new tracks! Great photo - and I like the introspection. xobean
