This winter has been extremely icy. The weather conditions have been freeze, thaw, freeze, thaw. Just right for forming treacherous icy conditions. Almost everyone I talk to has fallen knows of several people who have.
With the bad side of the ice, however, comes the good side - the beautiful side. I have captured some phenomenal shots of ice formations on the creek. It's a photographer's paradise.
These are beautiful, Diane!! I haven't checked in on your blog for quite a while - went back to visit my folks and that seemed to take up so much of my head space I didn't have time for much "blog cruising". Hope you, Rascal and Leonard are all well!!
Beautiful pictures. Do you remember when icy streets were an invitation to slide!!!!!!!!! Well that was when we were kids and had alot smaller distance to fall. Have a great day and wear your cleats. I know I will
These photos are beautiful!!!Now don't you go falling down on your hiney Diane! It looks scary out there. We have had the mildest winter and no snow. I am getting really worried about our water situation this year. It doesn't do me any good to worry, so I'm just enjoying the sunshine we've been having all of January. My daughter lives in Boise and she said she hadn't seen the sun in a month until yesterday when the inversion they've had lifted. Hasn't the weather been crazy this year? Stay warm and safe dear and no slipping!!!! hugs from here...
