On the 27th in the afternoon these black clouds appeared over the mountains. Almost before
I could get inside the hail struck and it was one of the worst hailstorms I've seen.
It tore leaves off of the trees and now there are piles of decomposing green leaves everywhere and they're so hard to clean up.
It's been raining almost continually since then but I got out today and saw the damage to our flowers (Cathy gave me this hanging pot for Mother's Day)
And today I found the little butterfly that Leonard bought me several years ago......
....beat to smithereens!! Darn! Diane

This time of year - we never know what we're going to get!
This has been a bad spring for weather all over hasn't it Diane? I'm sorry it hit your beautiful yard.
This reminds me that nature can be as cruel as it is beautiful. So sorry for the damage to your beautiful yard. So much love and work destroyed in seconds :(
Oh my gosh! That is some serious hail! Good grief. That sky looks ominous. xobean
I know we can do about the weather, but it is sad to see all that damage. I hope the plants will recover.
