April 22, 2008 - Amanda survived being chased by a grizzly bear (with cubs). I will always be so grateful that the Lord was watching over my child. It still turns my knees to jelly to think of it.
Thanks for your good wishes for Rascal. He seems to be walking better. Diane

Wow Diane, this brings back memories of my daughters bear encounter. Rosika was only 6 feet away from a grizzly when she heard a twig snap and looked up from her standing place to see a male grizzly lick his lips. She was only about 14 years old. She panicked and ran for our neighbors artist studio cabin. Luckily the bear did not go after her. I like you will always be so grateful for her guardian angel watching over her.
The next morning we woke up to muddy nose prints on our basement windows and over thousand dollars of damage to items around our house.
I got to meet your daughter at Heidi's party this year...she is a wonderful person!!!
God Bless!
Chris :o)
Dear Diane, We have so much to be grateful for. Wishing you and your family a happy week, Jane xx
Wow, Chris has a scary story too!!! 5 years have passed and the memories are still vivid. Love you!!! Bean
Oh my gosh Diane, I can't even imagine the fear. Grizzly's are the worst, especially when it comes to a mother. Thank God she was spared. Happy to here the news on Rascal, he's such a sweety!
Goodness! How scary! I'm so glad Bean is well! Best wishes, Tammy
