Several years ago I was delighted to find out that the Cancer Survivors could deliver a bunch of daffodils to Mother in the care center even though it's 38 miles away. So every year I did that. The daffodils always arrive just at the right time - when we really need some bright yellow joy at the end of the winter. It always made Mother's day to get her bunch of daffodils.
I was surprised to get a call from them shortly after Mother's death and the woman said "I saw the obituary and wondered what you want me to do with her daffodil order." Shaken, I said to just go ahead and deliver them to me.
So Monday when we were out of town they put them in our mailbox. So this is how I came about this beautiful bouquet. Diane

They're lovely. Enjoy them and think of your Mom. Kit
What a wonderful surprise and at a time when its cheeriness was needed. Just like a loving Mom to comfort you when you need it the most. How wonderful, a gift from heaven :)
That was lovely - like a bouquet from your mum.
What a lovely story Diane. And, a stark reminder that the spring WILL come and the cycle of life goes on. Love to you my friend.
I'm glad that you are able to enjoy those cheery daffodils. A little bit of springtime indoors even though it's cold outside. Warm hugs, Tammy
