I always wonder what other people do with their heart-shaped candy boxes. There must be something beautiful and creative that you could do. Mine are usually kept in a drawer and I bring them out for Valentine's Day and stack them up somewhere. I hope you had a lovely day yesterday and today, too, for that matter. Diane

I've seen lots of people decorate them and then use them for gift boxes. And also some folks crochet up a bunch of chocolates and place them in the box. I think that would be so cute, but I haven't tried my hand at crocheting sweets yet. :) Wishing you a lovely day. Tammy
Hi Diane,
Those boxes are fabulous. I'm jealous...what wonderful props to decorate with. And I dare say they speak of many happy Valentine days for you..such nice reminders.
Hope your day was lovely this year too.
I like the thought of a stack of hearts - the memory of the chocolate with none of the guilt associated with indulging....but then, perhaps there was a new, full box this year :)
I think they throw them away...must say I have never received a heart shaped box....Phil gave me a wrapped box of cereal when we were dating.....Heidi
I got the tiniest red heart box this year with a cowboy sticker from a co-worker and I just love it. Going to keep it all year round in my bedroom. Love your collection. :) Kit
I've really enjoyed your "heart" posts. These have all been so clever and fun. Love, Patsy
I love your collection of heart shaped boxes! xobean
Right now I'm using one to store all my small heart embellishments. At least I know where to find them now. LOL
