Should auld acquaintance

be forgot,

and never brought to mind?

should auld acquaintance be forgot,

and days o' auld lang syne!

                   For auld lang syne, my dear, for auld lang syne,
                   We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet for auld lang syne!
