cranberries..........the rest of the story

I promised to let you know how the cranberry sauce
turned out. ............Well......................
Lets just say it made a wonderful basting sauce for my
ham and we had cranberry sorbet and we
still have enough to have cranberry syrup for a while.
My cranberry sauce which I hoped would set and be jelly didn't
but in the process I've learned how versatile cranberries
can be.
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that
if you did have any surprises or disasters
they all turned out for the best.

It may not have jelled, but if the end result tasted good, that's the main thing.

Cranberry is one of my favourite flavours and I'm glad you had a positive outlook over your over-abundance! Just imagining that basting sauce is making my mouth water.

I read on another blog where they made their own -- just cranberries and sugar and cornstarch, I think. What did you do? I love cranberries -- mostly eat them dried, though sometimes I can get frozen ones. :)
