Here, like so many places, the temperatures have been beastly.
In the evening, however, the sprayers come on and the peaceful sound of rushing water cools the weary body and mind. Who doesn't feel refreshed just looking at the beautiful water?

I know Diane! It's so hot and dry here, we're so behind on rainfall, and every day consists of watering all the gardens. Hope the flood gates open soon!
Last time I checked, I didn't see a post from you ... how did I miss these last three?
That sprinkler looks very refreshing. Reminds me of summers long ago. My mom used to lock us out of the house when we were little so she could clean or something. I don't know what she was doing. But I remember wearing one of those one piece little romper things that tied at the shoulders. If I had to go to the bathroom, I would sit down, let it flow and then put the hose on myself. hmmm ... strange memory, huh!
