Why I Blog.............

Pondside brought up an interesting discussion the other day.  If you're interested in joining this thoughtful discussion take a peek at her blog and feel free to join in.

My blog is "my place".  It's the place where I can create peace out of havoc, joy out of pain.   Sometimes I've shared some of the pain but I feel that, knowing that everyone has their own battles, I don't want to burden others with it.  So I choose to create a soft place, a place where things are good.
I want my blog to be a place of joy or at least peace where you feel comfortable to come without hearing my latest woes.  I want it to be a place where I can come for respite and creation.

Thank you for coming, thank you for reading my blog.  If you're an old friend thank you for being there, if you're a new one -  welcome.              Diane

I feel the same way Diane. Before I started blogging those were the blogs that I was drawn to. One where I could be edified and uplifted.
Thank you for your beautiful spot in blogland!

Diane, your blog is always a place of peace and joy. I love to visit, never knowing what I'll find, but always sure that it will be something thoughtful or beautiful and often amusing. I'm glad I found your blog!

My blog is mostly for YOU! To let you know what my life is like and to stay in touch. I enjoy reading your blog and seeing what you see. Personally I don't mind hearing the reality of your life (good and bad). But, I will take whatever you want to put out there. I enjoy it all. Love you, Bean

My blog is my public diary or journal. I as told when my husband was sick in the hospital that it was good to write your feelings down and share them with others. When he died, I was told that continuing writing my feelings down and sharing them would help me through my grief and it has help me so much. I've met nice people and they say I have helped them to understand widowhood more.
