From "Psalm of Life"

Let us, then, be up and doing,
With a heart for any fate;
Still achieving, still pursuing,
Learn to labor and to wait.

From Psalm of Life by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Diane

I found this sweet little hollyhock growing alongside a busy street, about 9" tall but growing with all it's heart.  So it isn't tall like the other hollyhocks but that's not stopping it from fulfilling it's life ambition.

The persistence of plants like this little hollyhock always amazes me!

Wonder if it just happened to grow there by accident or if someone planted it for a reason? Like my moss roses, some plants will grow and some will bloom no matter the circumstances ... we should certainly do the same. Best wishes and blessings, Tammy
