The Party Is On!!!

That's the grape arbor in the background.  It's loaded with grapes and there are tons of them for the birds. It's so funny to watch the robins, they move in and have their own private party.  When one of us walks by on the way to the alley they either buzz us or chatter telling us that we're unwelcome guests at their little party!
Or they flap and take off fast to try to scare us away.
There's arguing among themselves, occasional singing and sometimes fights break out.  Reminds me of people at a party.   I'm glad to share them with the birds, it's worth the show.  Diane

Birds are funny and a little greedy. I love that they buzz you.

  6. Hey Diane, you just described me at a party where there is food involved!!! I love seeing the birds stuffing themselves, getting ready for the flights they will so take to their Winter homes.
I loved the photo of your amazing starry night in the post before. So awe-inspiring isn't it, to have this view???
Something I never take for granted.

  7. Just so they don't party late into the night, because we know that those particular party-goers are early risers!

  8. We have a pair of robins who are like the playground bullies; they guard the bird feeder jealously until they are satisfied. The poor blue tits have to dart in, grab and run for their lives.
