...the mother turkey still herding her brood of eight around. Still a little foggy here. They still aren't as large as her but almost.
The deer in the field across the creek.
And then there was the war....

The invaders came to the grapevine, cedar waxwings, and the robins were up in arms. The grapevine is their territory and they were trying to drive the waxwings off. I even saw Mr. Pheasant tiptoeing around underneath the grapevine. Good thing the robins didn't see him!! What's been going on in your neighborhood? Diane

Wonderful photos! We have all those same creatures on our place here in Oregon and I never ever tire of seeing/hearing them!

I so wish I could see them with you Diane, but I'll enjoy your pictures! Awesome!!
the house in the first photo was beautiful, my word for alot of visitors in your neighborhood.
Tonight we went for a walk in town and I saw a bull mosse in someones yard and I told Phil and the kids and they said Mom thats a cut out!
The mist gives your photos a wonderfully mysterious quality.
Lots of critters up here - deer are everywhere!....eating their heads off!
Lucky you to get to see all these visitors in one day Diane!!
You have the most interesting neighborhood Diane!!! I love when the cedar waxwings come and strip the crabapples from all my trees. I think birdwatching is one of my favorite passtimes at this stage of my life.
I adore your banner, it is beautiful.
hugs to you...
