Green

Just a little over a month ago this creek was a raging flood of angry water.  Snow was melting on the mountains and the water just couldn't get down into the lowlands fast enough.  Today it's slowed down to a crawl, the only sounds you can hear around it is birds calling from the trees.  The life of a creek - very interesting!  Diane

    I remember when you showed us the 'angry' creek.. Now---it's just a sweet, passive creek.... It's just like us humans... We are sweet and calm sometimes and angry at other times.....

    We got RAIN tonight.... YEAH!!!!! Can you see my smile?????

    It is interesting to see how a creek will change throughout the seasons. Glad it is calm and full of birdsong now. :c)

    Hi Diane, you always have such lovely photos to share. That white butterfly is so pretty in its surroundings. We finally have no more road trips to take.     Nature changes its face so quickly - from raging torrent to peaceful green bower. Up here, in the space of a month we've gone from cool rain and fog to drought - yesterday we had our first forest fire, just spitting distance from the house.....careless, lazy humans visiting the woods.
