It was a cold day but there was all sorts of activity in the neighborhood. This little downy woodpecker was a visitor to the suet block and the chickadees were dee, dee, deeing and calling h........ere kitty (at least that's what it sounds like to me). There were Canadian geese honking overhead and I think I saw some robins, the first of the spring. In the high trees I heard starlings with their telegraph sounding chatter. Birds are a delight with their antics, their calling and color. They just add so much to the world, don't they.
God bless you, Diane

We had the birds singing this morning too Diane, and it was Heaven to my ears. I look forward to that first day every year. It reached the 60's today so I was able to sit outside and listen. What a treat!
Even thought it was cold, Diane, did it feel a little like spring???? The Robins are definitely a first sign..
We have one little crocus blooming so far.. BUT that is it!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Spring is coming... it sooo is!
This world would be a silent place without birds. It amazes me that some people never even notice most of the birds.
Blessings,Ruth
