A Piece of Heaven

I rode with my husband out to Story (15 miles away) this afternoon. He had a call out there and I thought it might be a good day for pictures. On the way home I told him to turn up this dirt road that I'd remembered. "Where are we going, there's nothing up here but a big hill" he said.
I told him to just keep going, all the while unsure it would be like I remembered. "Stop here". I climbed out and walked over through some trees, there it was, untouched by time or development. What a beautiful fall day to rediscover this place.

    This is a beautiful photo Diane. It's amazing what you will find down those dirt roads and especially to remember where it was.

    A lovely spot and a beautiful photograph. Good to spare the time to explore, once in a while. Too often, we say "we must do that, one of these days" and the day never comes.
