Journaling.............

Every day I journal.  I want to be in my studio more but things take over.  But I journal.  I found when Leonard was sick that it was my sanctuary and my "place" to be when chaos sometimes seemed to be all around me.
I love it.  Sometimes I draw little things that have to do with the day, sometimes I glue in images that do.
It started out as a legacy to my children but somewhere along the line that changed to my place to be.  If, when I'm gone, they get some joy from them, all the better.
Hope you have something you're as passionate about.  God bless you.  Diane

I'm constantly trying to maintain a daily journal but don't often succeed. No one will ever find anything of worth in them. I just like the idea of writing, drawing, coloring, painting, cutting, gluing. :)

Hi. New follower here. I have so many journals lying around, both plain and guided, but it seems that after a week or so, I just lose interest for awhile, then buy a new one, start again, etc. I realize how important a journal can be for one's emotional health. I kept one for a few weeks after my feline best friend passed and it helped me heal greatly to write out my thought. Same when my hubby was hospitalized for his COPD. I had bought a new daily gratitude journal which I must start using. I've lots to be grateful for.

I have always loved your journals Diane, and you have inspired me in the past to try one myself. I'm still determined at some point to do that. God Bless you too!
