Stars in January

January's moving along at breakneck speed.  I was planning to get a lot of art done during the winter months but they don't seem to be waiting for me.

This is as you come in my back door.  The star holds special meaning for me.  One year I cut several of them and hung them on our little cherry tree in the back yard.  It was beautiful.  Then a windstorm came up and scattered them somewhere else.  Leonard found this one and I hung it here.  It gives me joy every time I see it.  Also the birdhouse was given to me by Brenda.  It says "Please Be Seeded" - I love it.

I hope you're doing well, avoiding the flu and the terrible mudslides.

                             God bless you,                        Diane

It's amazing how quickly the days pass. California has certainly been through enough with the fires and now the mudslides. Truly awful to see the devastation. The stars on the tree sure did look pretty.

Oh how I love the stars in the tree! You must make more. Quiet over here in Montana, just the way I like it. :) Kit
