Thought you might like to help me watch the avacado seed open. It's been sitting there in the water for months and now it's going to sprout.........the neighbor was teaching a visiting little girl how to ride a bike in the middle of the street........the busy detour will begin again tomorrow but today the kids can play in the street............Rascal snores on his favorite sleeping place.......my brother is still in the hospital and he will be for 3 to 5 days, he's in Casper so it's hard to visit him but I talk every day..........the robins are having a hard time keeping track of their babies, they're constantly in a state of fussing and worrying........I scrubbed the birdbath.......put some things in the storage shed, hope to have another garage sale this summer and try to get it emptied out...........the town is settling down after the rodeo, I'm thankful that it's over for another year.........watched the Christian worship hour - it was interrupted by George Stephanopolis with a special report about another police shooting ......my life in a nutshell this morning. Wonderful post! Sounds like you have been very busy. I think our cats use the birdbath here more than the birds. lol
I have one that took forever to grow and then when it did, it shot up about 4 feet and put out one leaf that eventually fell off. Now it's sprouted another shoot elsewhere on the long stem. I've got a few other sitting waiting to root but I don't think my husband will take care of them while I am away for 5 weeks, so will have to start some more again when I get back. Healing wishes for your brother.
